The āArt Across Mississippiā exhibition series serves as a precursor to āPicturing Mississippi, 1817-2017: Land of Plenty, Pain and Promise,ā a landmark exhibition of more than 175 works of art interpreting the stateās rich artistic legacy over two centuries. Part of the MMAās Annie Laurie Swaim Hearin Memorial Exhibition Series, the exhibition will be on display this Dec. 9-July 8, 2018, at the Mississippi Museum of Art in Jackson.
